TALK Ministries is covered under Kingdom Embassy under the Pastorate of Terrence and Belinda Simmons and was founded on….. Our first Worship Service was January 11, 2024.
Our Pastor
Reverend Matthew Rivers, the founding Senior Pastor of Truth and Life Kingdom Ministries, was raised on the peninsula in Charleston, South Carolina in a loving Christian home where Sunday church was a regular occurrence. This is the place where he became a strong follower of Christ. Pastor Rivers attended North Carolina College of Theology where he received a bachelor’s degree and continued his studies to earn a Master of Divinity Degree from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in Pittsburgh, PA.
Pastor Rivers’ work includes fighting high crime in at-risk neighborhoods, binding diverse neighbors when others fought with hate and division. His God given vision helped lay the groundwork for an international ministry in Tanzania where building homes and wells serves widows and orphans. His sermons and mission work have been witnessed by over 2400 viewers spanning 5 countries around the globe. His passion for making disciples, leading people to Christ, and developing healthy Christian families are built upon a Bible-based foundation.
